Failing to follow the manufacture’s installation instructions for your new appliance may void the warranty on the product For superior washing performance, always run the hot water tap for a few seconds before turning on your dishwasher so that the first fill is with hot water, not just lukewarm water. The detergent needs hot water in order to be activated to do its job of cleaning.
